Just got back from the range, and a trip to the local gunshop. I went to the shop first and they had a used but excellant shape 4" .45 acp Thunder Ranch tactical revolver with the light rail (and a Surefire light for the rail) for a bit over a grand, first one I have personally seen or held. It had a light on it and the balance was amazing, ME LIKES. After I got done drooling I went to the range to bust a few caps and burn off the desire to spend the money I dont have, even though my 50th birthday is rapidly coming. .

As my luck had it, one of the guys I shoot with was there and he had the exact same revolver in his case, including a light. He let me shoot it, rotten sadist that he is, and ME REALLY REALLY LIKES IT.Me is having trouble not getting in vehicle and driving to shop, must hope for 7PM to come quickly when they close that gives me till Monday to get past this.

Dang it is a sweet shooter. That light really tames any felt recoil, but even when we took it off it was very manageable and nice to shoot. The scandium frame is so nice and light to carry, you could carry this all day long, easily. But it might be a tad large for summer CC. The moon clips are so dang fast to reload, they are half again as fast as speedloaders to use.
