I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts/experience with the use of a red dot sight on a .22 rifle?
Specifically, I'm wondering if they compromise accuracy at the ranges a .22 is generally shot at when hunting small game, say 30-40 yards or so?
Can an accurate, quality bolt action .22 deliver great accuracy with a quality red dot sight, or will a traditional scope tend to edge it out?
