That is pretty neat, I had heard a long time ago that the .35 Rem could use the bullets out of the other .355 caliber rounds, but I never thought of downloading them to make a small game round. Sounds like you've got a nice setup.
And, I think this shows that virtually anything reasonable can be used as a good "survival arm". .30 caliber rifles can be loaded up with cast balls and red dot to double as small game rifles; most revolver calibers can be loaded up and down to take both large and small game; and there are a number of other calibers that can do double duty as well. I think that's one of the most important factors, "can this caliber make a decent small game and large game load?" And, as much as I like the .22lr, it really isn't up to my standards for large game (regardless of how many poachers use it).
