BOB firearms and the CCW?

If so, if you have a CCW do you carry another firearm in your Bob in addition to your CCW handgun. If you carry a firearm in your Bob in addition to your CCW is it the same caliber? How much ammunition do you carry for each? I have always carried a seperate firearm and holster in my Bob than my CCW handgun. The reason being one never knows, and I would want a firearm in case somehow I ended up without my CCW handgun for whatever reason. I also could arm my wife if she is without her primary arms. I carry two different calibers because if for some reason I am reduced to scrounging for ammuntion I double my chances of finding something that way. I normally carry 50 rounds for each in my shoulder bag, and additional in larger kit bags.

Next to the BOB I keep an H&R Survivor in .45/.410, for tossing in the Jeep whenever I go afield. Standard CCW carry for normal out-of-the-city carry is a Taurus Judge, again .45/.410 . I've got a Buckmark .22lr pistol for the wife's BOB. Everything taken down or locked with the exception of CCW carry. On M6, 50 rounds of .22, 12 rounds .410. On H&R, 15 rounds .45, 10 rounds .410. Buckmark - 3 ten round magazines. Judge - three .410 /two .45 two speedloaders of .45. In my BOB - 200 rounds .22lr, 50 rounds .45 Colt, 50 rounds .410 various type. In wife's BOB - same. This is our "no time to get things out of the gun safe-get out of the house now!" load. My CCW for city carry is in either .380 or .357. I don't wear jeans to the opera, or white tie to the rodeo. My carry weapon changes according to the situation.

CCWs are impossible for a run of the mill citizen to obtain in our county, but have read that up northern california way, with good reason, they are issued in some counties. All life is subject to the laws of Nature, or to be more precise, the laws of our CREATOR.

I 'always' have a Ruger .44 with me and an extra 15 rounds of ammuntion on the gunbelt. Usually kicking around in my truck is an extra box or two of .44's. 405

My normal CCW is a Glock 19. I can think of plenty of reasons why having two guns is a good idea including arming a companion. Kill your TV!

But in my BOB I carry a .45 w/belt holster and two magazines & an extra box of 50 rounds. I also carry a lightweight S&W Airlight .22 revolver and 4 boxes of CCI Stingers. In addition to these handguns I have a Ruger 10/22 with a folding stock and shoulder strap that I have always thought should be carried out of the bag if possible.

My CCW varies depending on what I'm doing. As does the weapon(s) in/around my BOB. My CCW could feed me. It could defend me, that's it's purpose. But the handgun in (with) the BOB can do it better. It's more powerful and accurate. As is the rifle with the BOB. Are the chamberings compatible, generally no. My CCW is normally a .45 auto. My belt gun runs from .357 Mag through .41 Mag and .44 Mags. It could even be a second .45 depending. My longgun could be a .22 Mag or .308 or even a .45-70 depending on what I'm doing or where I'm going. I pack accordingly. There's 50 rounds for the CCW in the BOB. There's 50 rounds plus what's in speedloaders/wallet/belt loops for the wheelgun. There's 50 rounds for the rifle if it's a centerfire and 500 if it's a rimfire. (I might want to plink) And depending on what's happening (politically, etc) I may augment that with a whole bunch more. I can feed myself for quite a while on that original number of rounds. We won't even go into what's in the back of the patrol car right now.
