We usually talk about the 'best' firearms for each situation. So I decided to ask, "What firearms can you do without?"

Hmm, everything we have, was chosen for it's defensive and food gathering capabilities, so I don't think that we own a firearm that we could do
without, except for maybe the duplicate .380 that the wife bought for herself. She has another .380 and a 5 shot Taurus .38spl, so yeah, the .380 can go if
needed.

I can live without poorly made firearms, and poorly maintained firearms. All others, whether at home in a gun safe, or worn, displayed or concealed, by myself
or others, I can live with.

None of what I have.
DO I have more than I "need", maybe but redundancy and the possibility of never being able to replace some of them makes them all "ones I can't do without". |

Thought a lot about this one. IF I had access to unlimited parts I could conceiveably get away without everything except a handgun for CCW/protection, and a
shotgun which would basically do everything else along with my archery equipment. If things went to heck, I could confiscate some poorly trained recruits
weapons, especially if they follow me into the woods.
So therefore I would pick my SP101 and Mossberg, and do without everything else, IF I HAD TO. |

I have also thought about this one. I think I'm with Lee, I have a whole rack of muzzel loaders hanging on the bedroom wall, I love to wake up and look at
them in the morning! But I also have a "few" rifles and pistols in the safe. I love the cap and ball copies of the Remington's and Colt's and
have quite a few pairs. But I also have a rack of longbows and recurves, I just can't seem to get into those cable and pully contraptions they call bow
today. Or the stainless and aluminum arrows. But if the government thinks I shouldn't have any of this type of weaponry, no biggie! Just let me keep a
knife and I can slip off into the hills and within a day, I'll have a working bow and a hand full of arrows! Remember, the meek shall inherit the world!

.....More gun laws. An increase in the price of lead.
