Have you ever felt helpless?.. Its not something I'm accustom too. Sometimes I like to remind myself how hard it can be. Since I was a 3rd grader I have
always had my own pocket knife. I learned the rules of carrying a knife and the hard lessons of not following the rules ( cut away from yourself)( a dull knife
is more likely to cut you) etc. I have always carried a knife, and at some points in my life have bet my life on having a good knife. I to have been hampered
occasionally by the rules of the modern world and have had to pack them in my suitcase and such.
I just got back from Yellowstone/grand tetons with my family for vacation. I decided to pack my knives in a vacuumed sealed bag with a SK in the vehicle. Its very similar to having a temporary disability for me. I found myself using the most ridiculous things for a spur of the moment substitutes. pop tabs, pens, teeth "alot " and if I had this much of a dependence on anything else in the world- I would be a addict.
